Yesterday, as I was going through some emails, I found an email from a survey company I participate in with a $5.00 Amazon gift card enclosed. Pretty exciting.
So, today I went on to see what I could get. Answer: some pretty amazing deals. I tend to shop for movies a lot on Amazon, so I was looking in that department and found two movies that I've heard were really pretty good and that I've been wanting to see for a while.
Yesterday, I got back from a camp at Texas A&M University, where we heard a lecture by a professor called History vs. Hollywood (Or How a History Geek watches movies). In his lecture the professor talked about the movie Valkyrie, and said it was really pretty true to the actual July 20th Plot. So, as I had been wanting to see the movie I figured it was probably a good idea to go ahead and buy it. But, I ended up getting a pretty good deal on it.
After I added Valkyrie to my cart, Amazon gives you a screen of other things they recommend. One, of which was Public Enemies with the super cute Johnny Depp. I know my mom had definitely wanted to see this, as did I, so I thought it would be a pretty worth while purchase. Plus with the amazing deal I got, I can't complain...
Both of my movies are supposed to are between June 17th, and July 5th, so when I watch them, I'll let you know how they were (unless of course you've already seen them).
